There's a big wide world of devices and browsers out there, so it's a good idea to know where your platform is supported.
Your Disciple Community is available to your members as an iOS App, an Android App and a Progressive Web App (PWA for short).
Each platform has different requirements to be able to operate on them, and we aim to keep this in line with the minimum system versions that Apple and Google themselves support.
With that in mind, let's take a quick Look together.
The iOS App:
The iOS App is optimised and supported for iPhone devices, however, it is also available for the iPad and certain Mac's that use Apple's Silicone chip.
The iOS App requires a device to have the following minimum operating system for the App to be compatible:
- iPhone: iOS 18.0 or later.
- iPad: iPad OS 18.0 or later.
- Mac: Mac OS 15.0 or later with a Mac that has a M1 chip.
The Android App:
The Android App is optimised for Android mobile devices, however, it is also available for Android tablets and some other devices.
The Android App requires a device to have the following minimum operating system for the App to be compatible:
- Android Device: Android 10 or later.
The PWA:
The PWA does not require a specific device operating system, however, we do have some recommendations to make sure the best experience is had:
- Make sure the Web Browser in use is up to date.
- Limit or turn off any browser extensions such as ad blockers.
Some devices also allow you to install the PWA on to your devices Home Screen for ease of access.
