How do I Link my Developer Account with Disciple?

Linking your Google and Apple Developer Accounts to ours is an integral part of the process, but don't worry, we're here to talk you through it! 

 

You will be connecting both your Apple developer account and your Google developer account to Disciple. Each system has a different process, but to make your life easier, we have recorded two handy video guides that can show you step by step how to do this. 

 

Linking your Apple Developer Account to Disciple:

 

As we just saw in the video, log into App Store Connect and head to the Users and Access section.

Click on the blue Plus button next to add a user. You'll be presented with a form to fill out. 

 

Fill in the form using:

  • First name: Disciple.
  • Last name: App Stores.
  • Email: appstores@disciplemedia.com.
  • Roles: check the box for Admin.
    • Make sure all the other role fields are also ticked.
    • Make sure that Access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles is also ticked.

Then click Invite!

 

We also need some API information too to complete this. We suggest having your email open and at the ready, so you can easily copy in the information you need! 

Here are the steps that you have just watched in the video above:

  1. In App Store Connect, go to the Users and Access section. 
  2. Select Integrations from the tabs at the top of the page. 
  3. Click on the blue + icon to Generate the API Key. 
  4. Name it Disciple Media and then select Admins from the access drop-down menu.
  5. Click Generate. 
  6. On the next page you will see:
    1. An Issuer ID
    2. A Key ID 
    3. The option to Download API Key 
  7. You will need to copy the Issuer ID and Key ID and download the API Key.
  8. Enter the information in the App Updates page in the Console and then click Connect.

Linking your Google Play Developer account to Disciple:

 

As we just saw in the video, log into your Google Play Console, and click on the Users & Permissions section. Click on Invite New Users and let's begin.

Fill in the form using:

Next, head to account permissions:

  • App Access: Admin (all permissions).
    • Make sure all the other role fields are also ticked.

Then click Invite User!

 

That's It!
