Want to understand how engaged your subscribers are, what your retentions rate is like and just how many subscribers you have? You're in the right place!
The Insights page is designed to give you an understanding of a subscriptions performance at a glance. By clearly displaying high-level data, informed decisions about your subscription can be made easier and quicker. Firstly though, let's find our Insights!
Head to the Console and select Convert from the left hand panel, then select Monetisation. The first page you will land on is the Insights page.
(If you haven't yet set up your Web monetisation, you will not see the Insights page – click here to learn how to set this up.)
What Data do I See?
Total Subscribers:
This section shows you the total number of subscribers currently paying to use your Community.
This includes members who you have manually given a free subscription to through the Console and members that have deleted their accounts, but not cancelled their subscription.
Engaged Subscribers:
The number of subscribers who have been engaged within your Community in the past 30 days.
An engaged member is someone who is logged into the Community and opened the app.
New Subscribers:
The number of members who have newly subscribed to your Community over the past 30 days.
This does include members who have manually been given a subscription through the Console, however, it does not include members who have re-subscribed to your Community.
Unsubscribed:
The number of subscribers who have cancelled their subscription over the past 30 days.
Churn Rate:
The percentage of subscribers who have unsubscribed in the past 30 days. This is calculated by the number of new subscribers divided by the number of unsubscribes over 30 days.
Subscription Plans:
The percentage of members on each subscription tier in your Community. This split includes non-paying members.
Billing Period:
A percentage split of the payment frequency members pay for a subscription.
If you only have one payment frequency in place, the percentage will be displayed as 100%.
Payment Platform:
A percentage split of the payment platforms used to pay for a subscription in your Community.
The data that is shown here is historical data, and is designed to show you which platform had the most subscriptions historically.
This split is broken down into iOS, Android and Web and is not a representation of your currently active subscribers.
